I don't know about publication for the Lane study (my first attempted link). I did find that medrxiv has a couple of "peer review" comments anyway, one of which echoes my own "isn't it more variable than this? paper seems too pat" thoughts when I'd read it.

The challenge trial did get published, but the link I tried was paywalled so I fell back to preprint for sharing.
